Philippines is a beautiful country. A beautiful place where you can see many local trees. These trees play an important role in our daily lives. They provide us many useful things.

        One of these trees is coconut tree. This tree is abundant in our place. Many Filipinos benefit from it. I choose this tree because it has many uses. Starting from its leaves down to its roots, you will benefit from it. You can make something out of its part. Its meat can be used for culinary. Its husk is used as a floor polisher and the fiber on it is made into mats, brushes, and many more. Its leaves can be used as a broom and its roots can be used as a dye.

     For me I consider myself as a giving tree just like this coconut tree because I am willing to help everyone as long as I can. I try my best to make others happy. I am also sharing what I have to my friends, classmates, family, and to the people around me. I am having fun doing this and not regretting it because every time I see sad faces turn into happy one, I feel satisfied and proud that I help them.
